Emerald Isle 203

Home away from home Emerald Isle 203 is a GOLD rated three-bedroom, two-bath Gulf Front vacation rental located in N. Redington Beach. This charming 2nd floor vacation rental includes a private Gulf Front balcony with a view of our beautiful white sugar sand beach.

203 offers a full size, fully-equipped kitchen with everything you need to enjoy dining at home. Color Flat Panel TVs (cable) in the living room and 2 bedrooms, telephone with free local calls and Wi-Fi are also provided.

Sleeping accommodations include a king bed in the main bedroom, a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom and 2 twin beds in the 3rd bedroom. Central heat and air conditioning and ceiling fans. Washer and Dryer.

Maximum occupancy: 6 persons (including infants). No Smoking. Saturday Arrivals in peaks seasons. One parking space.

  Wonderful accommodation on the beach! JC management extremely helpful. A few small suggestions. Need a new toilet in master bath as current one does not have much "flush power." Takes 2-3 flushes and/or plunging to get to clean. Keys for all adults. At least 2 luggage carts especially for move in/out days. Grocery cart for hauling groceries. Bottom shelf in refrigerator was cracked. At least 3 recycle bins as current one fills up as soon as it's emptied. Sliding door to balcony is very hard to open. Needs to be replaced or greased. Thanks for a great time!

  I will say I had somewhat low expectations for the unit based on previous comments and I actually was pleasantly surprised. The unit is very similar to others we have rented on N. Redington at similar price points. The things I would change were things I knew about upfront-the carpet in the bedrooms, the one parking space per unit and lack of guest parking, and the use of physical keys rather than key pad entry. These were all things that would make me think twice about staying at the property in the future but they did not ruin our week while we were there. We had one problem with the sliding glass door to the balcony being off track and hard to open/close and that was fixed right away. There were no beach towels provided or beach chairs but fortunately we are local and brought our own. Even for a holiday week, there were parking spaces that remained empty the entire week. The unit next to us was boarded up and obviously not being used. When I asked the property managers if we could use of the unused spaces for guest parking, we were told no. I was disappointed in the response given the spots went unused the entire week. We will probably look for a unit that does not have carpet and allows for two parking spaces next year. If things don't bother you than this would be a great condo to rent.

The owner has plans to replace the carpeting and do some additional updating. We are just waiting for our slower occupancy period..The work will be done this fall. We are currently in the process of transitioning from keyed locks in all of the condos we manage. This is ongoing and working around occupancy as well. As to the parking issue, all condos at Emerald Isle have only one parking space. We re bound HOA regulations and cannot issue permits for what may appear to be unused spaces. Not all condos at Emerald Isle are rentals. We would do it if we could. Thanks again for taking the time to write. We hope to see you again soon.

  Terrific location if you are looking for easy beach access. Spacious balcony, dining, living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. Across the street - Dunkin Donuts. The area is very quiet. The furniture is comfortable and the beds too. Owner does not provide beach towels; bring your own. The pool is very clean. Was there 1 week and saw pool being cleaned 3 times. Overall, an excellent stay and would definitely return to Emerald Isle 203.

  Myself and 5 additional family member stayed. We had a generous amount of space. Only 3 real complaints:
  1. The beds were only comfortable after a long days of swimming. A new mattress is definitely needed. On all beds my young ones even complained of back pain.
  2. The shower in the master bath took forever to get warm and there was hardly any water pressure. Would have loved a jet tub to get rid of the back pain. The shower in the main bathroom had hardly any pressure took about 10 mins to get shampoo out of the thick haired child.
  3. The clean supplies was limited. I had to buy Dishwasher powder and Dish soap.
  There was plenty of dishes and cooking items. Plenty of space. Plenty of TVs (minus the bedroom with the connecting bathroom.)
  I would stay again in a heart beat. Balcony was amazing for sunsets!!

  We loved our stay in condo 203. The view was spectacular. Location was perfect, not too busy which is what we were going for. The key system, while somewhat inconvenient, was really no big deal. Public beach access is right next to the pool so I understand, and appreciate the security. Although, often people would leave the gates propped open.
  
  Pool and grounds were clean. The condo itself was clean. It could use a little TLC as far as carpets being cleaned and fresh paint but all in all, it was clean and comfortable.
  
  Would not hesitate to stay here again.

  Locations was awesome, The condo had a few issues that were not fixed while we were there. The garbage disposer broke and was never replaced but it was towards the last few days of our trip so it was only a minor inconvenience. The dishwasher didn't clean the dishes but I didn't report it because i thought maybe i had loaded it wrong but time and time again they were dirty like the arm in the bottom wasn't spinning water around.
  The most concerning issue is the rug that had been taped in the long hallway. It is a dangerous tripping hazard and should be taken up immediately the tape isn't working. I tripped on it every time i came out of the master bedroom.
  Over all we had a great vacation and would return and recommend the condo to others. As a VRBO owner myself I would suggest maybe some new mattresses
